Rules of the University of Home Economics LahoreA regular student will typically take eight to fifteen credit hours of workload (for course work) each semester. At the end of the first semester, a student must have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.50 to advance to the second semester. GP 2.30 is required to qualify for the course. If a student can get a GPA of 2.30 or higher but is less than 2.50, he/she will be promoted in the second semester on promotion. Candidates who fail to get a 2.30 GPA in the first semester will be automatically disqualified. At the end of the second semester, a student must have a minimum overall grade point average (CGPA) of 2.50 and pass at least 50% of the course to be promoted to the third semester. If a student does not meet any of the previous two conditions, he or she will be expelled from the University Rules. (Successful Fashion Blog) In the third or third and fourth semester. A student will do research work/internship under the supervision of his / her supervisor and will present the research paper/report/project till the end of the third and fourth semester. In the third semester, a student will also have to repeat the courses of the first semester in which he failed and failed to maintain a CGPA of 2.50 which will remove his name from the University Rules. In the fourth semester, a student will have to repeat the courses of the second semester in which he failed and failed to maintain a CGPA of 2.50 which will result in his expulsion from the university. A student who completes all courses and does not need to repeat any course receives a CGPA of less than 2.50 but not less than 2.30 at the end of the fourth semester, is allowed to repeat up to two courses Can be given (various 2 – 6 credits) in which he got the minimum grade, failed to improve CGPA to get at least 2.50. In which he will not be given degree and university rules Will be removed from A student who has obtained an ‘F’ grade in a course in the first semester may be allowed to take an additional course during the second/third semester with the permission of the DPC of the University. A student who has obtained an ‘F’ grade in a course in the second semester may be allowed to take an additional course during the third/fourth semester with the permission of the university’s DPC. Teachers will send a copy of the course activity record to the DPC, Principal at the end of each semester on the prescribed proforma. Course work, after two semesters of research work (24 credit hours), will be followed by six credit hours, an internship in the third or third and fourth semesters. The title of the article, the report, the project will be recommended by the DPC / Board of Studies through the DPCC for the approval of the Vice-Chancellor. The dissertation/report will be submitted within six weeks of the end of the third or fourth semester (as the case may be). In case of the real reason, on the recommendation of the Supervisor, the DPC, DPCC Vice-Chancellor may extend the period for submission of dissertation/report/project for six months. The dissertation will be evaluated by an external examiner. The Board of Examiners for the examination of the dissertation will be appointed by the Vice-Chancellor through the DPC from the panel recommended by the concerned DPC. The assessment is usually completed within six weeks of submitting the dissertation. Only those students who get CGPA 2.5 in M.Phil. Degrees The marks given in each subject will be divided along the following lines.
